Chapter and community members celebrated a day of awareness for women's hearth health with a high cardio dance party. Pink goes Red program partners with the American Heart Association in the fight against heart disease in order to improve the health of all women. This day is to raise awareness of this deadly disease and promote life changes that will increase the longevity and quality of the lives of women around the globe

MLK Jr. Day of Service was held on Jan. 17th, a holiday of service, a "day on, not a day off." CPO, Ivy Tech and Purdue SLHS hosted a "Winter Accessory" drive to collect hats, gloves, blankets, socks, etc. to donate to those in need. Community members donated over 200 pieces of clothing for adults and children to distribute to the local community. No matter the choice, service empowers us, strengthens communities, build bridges and destroy barriers.
